As my roots are Irish I love the country and have travelled over most of it. However the North of Ireland is a special place for me. The scenery, the history, and above all the people are friendly. Derry,Tyrone, and Down being my favourite counties. Bob Taylor
I come from Ballymena. I have lived in the States for 13years. I miss the drives to Carnlough, Portrush, Ballycastle. I miss the warm and friendly people. It is not until you have lived far away from home that you truly appreciate the memories of the all the little things you took for granted growing up in Ballymena. Even though I would never consider to live in Ballymena again - its spirit lives in me every day and I will never forget my roots. Kara
I live in Northern Ireland and love it!!, the food is good, the education system is one of the best in the world, and life is just good, i can't find fault, well, maybe the weather could be better beckkah
Northern Ireland is one of the most fantastic and scenic places that i can think of however the peoplpe just destroy it what a pity. They dont deserve to live in such a beautiful place. William
Northern Ireland is the dogs bollox. Its the coolest place in europe for coastal scenery on a warm day. The coast road from Portrush to Larne is amazing. The Glenariff forest park in Antrim has the most beautiful waterfalls in Ireland. White rocks and East Strand beach in Portrush is great in summer. You can beat Antrim in Northern Ireland. Its a shame with all the political problems - but any decent civilian I know doesnt bother with it and just lives in their own world. I rather prefer Cushendall for the sea views and the GAA and the bars! jonathon - 24/11/2006 10:24

Norn Iron's a great place. it makes me proud to know I'm from such a friendly place. Although I've moved away, nowhere can compete with the shops, the scenery and most importantly the food... Tatty bread, Veda, Steak sausages, Paris buns, Barnbrack... and of course the pastie supper!!! It's all great. nikita - 12/04/2007 15:35
Its the best place one could ever be at, filled with natural beauty, peace and freshness.....wish i could get a free ticket and a place to live there. Jokes apart but believe me, if you want to go somewhere...Just go to Ireland...you wont ask for anything then....Thanks Ankit Sharma - 04/05/2007 19:17

I am from Germany and have visited Ireland on many occasions. My favourite parts of your great country are Wicklow, Kerry, Galway and the Glens of Antrim. To be honest the wesbite url is a bit misleading..NI feels like the rest of beautiful Ireland and not like Britain. I will be happy when the island is reunited. Hans - 05/05/2007 13:03

NI is a fantastic place to live - as an American going there for school and working with YFCNI I have seen the bad and the good - but it's still my favourite place in the world. Valerie - 11/08/2007 21:28
Northern Ireland is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with a friendly atmosphere you can enjoy a good night out in Belfast, or if you prefer to have a quiet meal, there are thousands of little quaint bars to go to. My favourite is Donagahdee!!!! Natalie - 13/12/2007 09:30
