Bolton
I miss Bolton - people so friendly and polite-lots and lots of good memories ...

i miss bolton so much, back to 1995 to 1997, i was there study at BIHE this is what we call the university before then i am still remember my old friends from Oman (Nasr Al Sa'di etc), seychelles (Nicholas Bijoux) & Botswana and my lecturers Stephen Jamson, Femi Olubodun, alan cornthwaite ....miss u all. Born in Beckett Street. Raised a 1/4 mile from the Town Hall.
What a wonderful town with a lotta countryside just calling you to come and play. The Giants Head below Raikes Lane and Monkey's Temple (Underground Chambers),
Nobody knew where the temple was.
The Cut and the Ivy Road Valley.
The Pubs of note. British Queen, Yates Wine Lodge, Balmoral the Derby Street pub crawl from Bradshawgate to Daubhill. And the 5 Finger Spread (generally in a Taxi ). All made life more exciting.
The Lilly Whites home or away. Bolton had it all.
Although I don't get back often it is always a pleasure. Philadelphia is great but Bolton will always be..... HOME

Having lived for a number of years in an area
called Belmont Bolton, seeing the pictures of the area reminds me of
what a great place it was. It is a lovely quiet area, I do miss the
place but now have a new life in NZ. Lancashire is a great place to
live.
