I left scotland when i was 11 years old to perth australia, i recently went back for 6 months and absolutley loved it. The people are fabulous, so friendly n funny, nothing like the australians who are pure snobby n arrogant. Glasgow has so much life to it. Cant wait to go back. Clare
Great city.
My opinion of Glasgow is very good compared to some of the revolting cities Down south such as Manchester which is an absolute dump an absolute dump I had the unfortunate experience of studying there It was very unclean as most of the south is I had regular visits from slugs in my Kitchen when I was a student as for the population 50% where white footbal morons with the limited vocabulary of yew wot and 50 % were from somewhere else culture and art well the main culture was football followed by throwing up in the streets shouting letting of fire works late at night copulous amounts of fighting more throwing up in the streets oh and ram raiding shops with stolen cars. i think that without its mansions, old buildings and big houses and musueums glasgow would be nothing. so therefore it is a good idea to put thoses buildings there where they belong. kirk
Glasgow is great although it can be wet it makes up for it with friendly (mostly) people and great nightlife thomas blyth

Glasgow is an amazing place with 13 museums and 90% are free to enter. It`s got a lot to offer! Paisley nearby is good too. Dave - 06/07/2007 00:28
I left Glasgow 25 years ago for NZ, City of beaches, and that clean I wouldn't throw away my fag end.Loads of Golf courses, swimming pools and Grassy playing fields. My grand kids definitely benefited. However once a Glaswegian always a Glaswegian. Would ye no all like to come to NZ? please! Don Stuart - 19/08/2007 05:05
