I came out from London England in 1971 when I was 19 years old. have lived in New zealand & now live in Australia where I have for about 30 years. I have been back once. I still miss the lovely pubs Pie & mash good old fish & chips. I love the history side of london the transport. the christmas's. Even thou now I live in Queensland with sunshine & a swimmimg pool.& I miss the good old cockney voices. The green green countryside its pretty flowers e.t.c & of course the green green grass of home. Its beats this Drought we are in at present. My dream woould be to live in Devon cornwall. London is dirty, terrible food, unfriendly people, hopeless service, expensive, busy.....as somebody said but nevertheless it is the most wonderful, powerful, beautiful city in the whole world. No place can be compared !!! Nora

Curry and chips isn't a London thing. Get your facts right before you start having a dig at Londoners. I see my fair share of interlopers dropping rubbish on our streets and making it a dirty place to live in - don't blame us.
